The Slingshot recumbent trike, offered by South Coast Cruzers, is three wheels of pure adrenaline and excitement.
Designed for extreme fun for both kids and adults, it is a recumbent trike with an adjustable, quick release seat for riders from 4’6” to 6’6”. This trike has no equal, from its aluminum alloy mag wheels and upgraded and improved foam molded comfortable seats (vs the previous vinyl covered seats) to its rear coaster brakes (single or five speed).
Recumbent trikes are fun and easy to ride. Because of the long wheel base and three wheels, the Slingshot does not require any ability to balance. Making the ride even better is the recumbent position, sitting low to the ground and behind the pedals. The recumbent riding position allows the rider to use the backrest to leverage against when pedaling. It’s like pedaling while sitting in a comfortable chair!

Well overall it is a good looking bike and my wife likes it. I would highly recommend professional assembly because the drive train is not user friendly to adjust. As for value for the money trikes are expensive but this one is very basic for what it cost.

Oh my gosh! This adult trike is so much fun!
First, I appreciate the very quick response that I received when I emailed to ask a question; I usually never receive a response when I email a company.

Third, the 2021 SOUTH COAST CRUZERS SLINGSHOT MAG WHEELS RECUMBENT TRIKE IS AWESOME!
I purchased it for my 88 year old dad, my husband put it together (he said it was a lot of fun!) , and my dad rode it 3 times yesterday.....he loves it!
So do I! It is FUN!!!!! And it is comfortable. My husband and I both tried it (of course!) and now we each want one too.
