Recumbent Bicycles

This is our recumbent bicycle collection, primarily trikes.  A recumbent bicycle places the rider in a laid-back reclining position.  Most recumbent riders choose this type of design for ergonomic reasons.  For one the rider's weight is distributed comfortably over a larger area, and second their weight is supported by their back and buttocks.  On a regular upright bicycle, the body weight rests entirely on a small portion of the buttocks, feet, and hands.
