The age rating says 8 year old buuuut I got this for my boys 3rd birthday lol and he LOVES IT, of course it stays on the slower speed, but he is a natural so I didn’t think he’d have any issues. The only thing is his hands are still a bit little for the hand breaks and his coordination not quite there but I stay right by his side and he listen to directions. We originally had bought a buggy that was way more expensive and they ended up being sold-out, and thank goodness because this Quad was less expensive with real rubber tires, sturdy hardware and the speed to boot! Very easy to get this up and running. Just had to install handle bars and charge it for 6-8hrs. Quality frame and tires. My 3yr old was off-roading with ease (even went in some mud). She loves the pink color. My one recommendation is to remove the foot pedal kill switch first thing before your little one rides for the first time. Just disconnect it from the controller and remove it from foot rest (remove 5 screws and snip the zip ties then reinstall the foot rest). With her tiny feet she couldn’t keep the pedal engaged and was just something else to complicate things. Once I took that off she rode it like a champ. For how much this costs it’s a great investment. Upzy was cheapest place to buy and that was before I used a promotional coupon.
