The Empire Hearthrite HRW17 Radiant 16800 BTUs Vent-Free Gas Heater, White draws room air to support combustion in a clean burning system.

This gas heater is available in either Manual control or Thermostat control.

Vent-free heaters are extraordinarily efficient, releasing nearly all of the available heat energy into the room.

To ensure safe operation, all vent-free systems include an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) to automatically turn off the heater if room oxygen level drops to an unsafe level.

Vent-free systems are manufactured to provide supplemental heat and should not be used as a main heat source.
