The Replogle Usonian 12" tabletop globe is based on designs by Frank Lloyd Wright- widely considered to be America's greatest architect.
The base for the Usonian desk globe was adapted from one of several furniture designs done in the forties by Mr. Wright. It is believed he was working on designs for either the Usonian homes designed about that time or for his own homes, Taliesin and Taliesen West.
As there are no specific notations on the drawings, they have not been assigned to any particular project.
The 12" Usonian Globe features a maple hardwood base made in the USA by Replogle crafstmen, an antique copper-plated semi-meridian, and an exclusive metallic-look antique ocean with raised relief mountains.
